1. What this is

DynamicTrail is a trail map maintained by local clubs, plus the app and website you read it through. Using either means you accept these terms. If you use DynamicTrail on behalf of a club, you confirm you are allowed to accept them for that club.

2. Trail data is information, not a guarantee

Read this one. Trails are maintained by volunteers and conditions change faster than any map. A trail shown as open may be closed, flooded, blocked or unsafe. A closure may not have been reported yet. Groomer positions, hazard pins and condition reports describe what somebody saw at a moment in the past.

You ride at your own risk, you are responsible for your own safety and for knowing where you are allowed to be, and you must obey signage, landowner wishes and the law over anything this app shows you. DynamicTrail is not liable for damage, injury or loss arising from riding a trail you found here.

3. Your account

You need an account to contribute, record rides or use club tools. Keep your credentials to yourself, give accurate information, and do not share an account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app or from the deletion page; deletion is permanent.

4. What you contribute

Trails, waypoints, closures, photos, reviews and condition reports you submit stay yours. By submitting them you give DynamicTrail permission to store them, show them to other riders where the club has approved them, and include them in the club's own exports. A club officer decides what becomes official on that club's map; that decision is theirs, not ours.

Do not submit anything that is not yours to submit, anything false about a trail's condition or access, or anything that would put a landowner's permission at risk.

5. Paid features

The map, offline maps, hazard reporting, ride recording and everything a club does to maintain its trails are free.

Premium is a yearly (or monthly) auto-renewing subscription bought through the app store on your device. It renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel, and you cancel it in that store — not here. The price shown in the app is the store's price for your country and currency. One-time upgrades, such as removing ads, do not renew.

Refunds are handled by the store you bought through, under that store's policy. Anything you recorded stays on your phone whether or not a subscription is active.

Club plans are agreed directly with the club and invoiced by us. They are not sold through the app.

6. Fair use

Do not scrape the service, resell the data, attempt to reach other people's private records, or use DynamicTrail to interfere with a club's trails or relationships with landowners. We can suspend an account that does.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided as-is. We will keep it running as well as we can, but we do not promise it will be available at a particular moment — which is exactly why offline maps exist and are free. We may change these terms; material changes will be announced in the app, and the date at the top of this page will change.
